Lauren Bon resides in Los Angeles. She holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA from Princeton University. Her most recent major work is the site-specific Not a Cornfield located in down town Los Angeles. Other recent urban, public and land art projects have been seen in the USA, Hong Kong, and Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her sculptural work has been exhibited widely, and in 2005 formed part of the highly acclaimed exhibition, Thing, at UCLA’s Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, a survey of the most innovative contemporary sculpture from LA’s up-and-coming generation.
